EXPERIENTIAL
Peacock - World Cup Activation
About
I produced and project managed this experiential activation for The Brooklyn Brothers (agency) on behalf of streaming service Peacock. To celebrate the brand’s exclusive live Spanish-language coverage of the World Cup for streaming, my team constructed a giant, 39–foot interactive soccer ball that spun, lit-up, and yelled “Goooooooal” in the voice of Andres Cantor every time a goal was scored during the tournament. We toured the ball in both New York at Rockefeller Center, and in Miami at Wynwood Marketplace.
The activation helped Peacock break several key streaming records, including:
Most-streamed World Cup match in US history, with 1.3 million average minute viewers (Mexico vs. Poland).
Biggest weekday ever in total consumption.
Unprecedented 29% of total viewership attributed to streaming in the first three days of the World Cup.
#1 spot at the top of the App Store for all 4x days of the tournament.
The activation garnered press coverage in Thrillist, TimeOut, and AdWeek, as well as a feature on The Today Show.
